Enjoy the summer of life in autumn and winter

The cold season is coming and the symptoms are getting bigger: rheumatism, arthrosis, asthma and new redermatitis send greetings. Recharge your batteries with sun-vitamin D. Stay in the EU and hibernate in the tropics. The days are about the same length all year round and contribute to a relaxed atmosphere. Enjoy living with all the amenities of the "savoir vivre" of the Grande Nation: bars, marinas, restaurants, hotels, villas, etc. In Guadeloupe and Martinique you have the opportunity to do so: a varied vegetation, the sun and the sea are balm for your limbs. There is something for every type: quiet places like Deshaies or something more busy like Gosier 4* spa hotels like the Mahogany or the rather simple apartment. We advise you. You won't get bored there. Life in Paradise. Turn your winter program in the Caribbean with us.

Guadeloupe Basse-Terre

The St Tropez of the French Antilles is undoubtedly the fishing village of Deshaies. A very pleasant atmosphere with a good infrastructure: Pharmacy, dentist, several doctors, supermarkets, car hire and bakery. Many charming restaurants and bars. No annoying advertising posters and 40 km of often unspoilt coastline. Very good minibus service to Sainte Rose from Monday to Saturday. Nearest hospital in Basse-Terre or Pointe-à-Pitre. Long-term rentals in hotels or villas of all price ranges and categories possible. We rent above the beach of Grande Anse with a fantastic view over the coast (car hire required) or in the village within walking distance of all shops and the beach. Or you can book an air-conditioned bungalow in the extensive Fort Royal complex. 14 units on the beach, 33 units with garden view and 35 units with sea view are available, all 20 m² in size. Large, attractive windows, small fridge, satellite TV, telephone, safe, hairdryer, bathroom with shower/WC.  2 bars, 1 restaurant, swimming pool, private beach and large garden.

Car hire at the complex, bus stop too. The village of Deshaies is approx. 4 km away. Stroll along the beautiful coast on the path of the customs officers and smugglers. Or follow in the footsteps of Ralph Little, Sarah Martins and others past the inspector's bungalow .... Life in Paradise, of course.

Guadeloupe Grande Terre

If you are looking for more entertainment, the south coast of the flat Grande-Terre part of the island is the place to be. From Gosier to Saint Francois, much is reminiscent of the French Mediterranean coast between Marseille and Cannes. An excellent infrastructure, although a hire car is sometimes required to explore the surrounding area. Golf course in Saint Francois, a swimming aerea protected by a pier in Sainte-Anne (safe swimming), good yacht and boat hire options at Gosier. Departure of the ferry to La Désirade in Saint Francois and to Marie-Galante, Les Saintes from Pointe-à-Pitre (regular bus service). We are happy to arrange holiday flats, flats, hotel rooms and villas in all price categories. The four luxurious villas of the 5* Toubana & Spa offer a marvellous view of the island of Marie-Galante and the Caribbean Sea.

Residents of the villas have access to the hotel's swimming pool and beach. 3 - 5 air-conditioned rooms, bathroom for each room, terrace, kitchen, etc.

Martinique

The most beautiful spots in Martinique include Saint Pierre at the foot of the Montagne Pelée volcano with its eternal spring, Anse d'Arlet, much loved by the continental French, Trois-Ilêts with the magnificent bay of Anse Mitan and also the Sainte-Anne peninsula with its picture-book landscapes. Martinique is even more "European" than Guadeloupe and you feel like you are in the south of France. Interregional bus connections are relatively good, as is the city traffic in the urbanisation of Fort-de-France. To discover the island, it makes sense to hire a car from time to time. The most beautiful beaches are in the south, the north is a little more rural. As in Guadeloupe, we organise villas, flats, bungalows and hotels. The Club Méd in the town of Sainte-Anne, for example, ensures that there is never a dull moment. Nevertheless, it's not high life around the clock. There's nothing to stop you staying longer. A frequent filming location for "Les vacances de l'amour", it is within walking distance of the centre of Sainte Anne with its pharmacy, doctor, post office, bars, shops and restaurants. Great beaches on the doorstep....

Sint Maarten/St Martin

Long-term holidays on the relatively small island are of course something for guests who appreciate a wide range of activities that offer scope for individuality. Swimming, snorkelling and diving (e.g. at Rocher Créole), sailing, good restaurants of all kinds, bars, markets..... on the French side in St Martin you will find all this and you are in the EU. If you drive across the green border to the Dutch part of the island of Sint Maarten, there is much more going on: cruise ships, nightlife, casinos, "the American way of life" in Phlippsburg and the surrounding area. Take the opportunity to make a detour to Anguilla from time to time, e.g. for a good round of golf. A hire car is a great advantage. We can arrange hotel rooms, flats, villas and holiday homes.

Antigua

You certainly won't get bored here, even if you don't sail or visit a different one of the 365 beaches every day. Shopping in the island's capital St John's or the nightlife with its bars around Jolly and Falmouth Harbour, cycling, the Sunday sunset party Shirley Heights.  The price level is somewhat higher than on the  French islands and the British lifestyle is mixed with Creole joie de vivre. Celebrities are not uncommon, even if you are not on St Barthélemy or Anguilla. You are not in the EU and should definitely take out international health insurance. The public bus system is not bad....once you have understood it. Nevertheless, a hire car is an advantage, at least from time to time. The distances are not great.
